Our Little Mechanic

Chloe is seen here working on her pink car. So cute. This was a night with daddy. He let her roll around in the muddy puddles and then they worked their way to fixing her car.

Chloe's latest adorable thing is that she tries to sing. We will sing her a song and then she will sing it back to us. We laugh so hard.

Girls Weekend

My mom, Nicole, Ashley, Chloe and myself spent two full days in Chicago. It was so much fun. We visited the American Girl store and made sure to color coordinate for our dinner. The girls got a photo shoot with their American Girl dolls. And the mom's got to visit Tiffany's, Crate and Barrel, and other fun stores on the Magificent Mile. I really love Chicago. There is so much to do. We could have spent a few more days there but had to get home to our boys.

Shopping at Tiffany's

We loved going into Tiffany's. The jewelry there is beautiful!

Train Ride

We took the train from Ann Arbor, MI to Chicago, IL. It was hillarious! I don't recommend it without hubbys. We had two children and a senior citizen (Ha, love you mom)...so Nicole and I had to manage nine pieces of luggage, two strollers, and our children. It was a riot! Everyone was staring at us. A good laugh for all of them. The actual train ride was nice. Chloe could walk around and we could use the restroom and relax. But I recommend driving due to the luggage issues. Now if you have someone to do the luggage then go for it...or if you pack light! Oh...another reason not to travel alone on the train with little ones...the parking lot where we had to park was a good 8 minute walk up and down flights of stairs. Try that with luggage and kiddos! Getting dropped off and picked up at the station would have worked a bit better.

From the Windy City

We had a great time at the American Girl store. We did the American Girl dinner, which was delicious! And then shopped on Friday down the Magnificent Mile. The girls are pictured here with their latte's! Carmel or Vanilla?

Our Water Bug

Chloe loves playing in the water. We have two fun little baby pools that she plays in so cute. The hose is her favorite though...she loves to drink out of it (LOL). Hillarious! She is so funny!

We received an update from our Samantha. She is making progress at Teen Challenge. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. She needs to experience Jesus in a real and personal way. He can touch her heart...

Our Trip Up North

Hello!

We had a wonderful time up north at my families cabins. We swam in lake Michigan, played on the sandy beach, ate marshmellows at the camp fire and watched sparkling fire works.
Chloe loved being up there. She was able to see her cousins every morning and all day! She ate all of her meals with everyone and loved it!

Chloe got to hang with my cousins' children as well, so our extended family was all up there. It was a difficult time not having Johnny there. We love him deeply and missed his presence.

I was able to read a fabulous book up there...it is now my favorite. I am so sad that I hadn't read it sooner in my life. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It touched my heart in so many ways. Thank you God for your unconditional love. Help me love the way you love.

Well, we are so thankful for the legacy that my dad has given our family-- Nahma. It is a place that holds memories of my childhood and now will hold Chloe's memories.

More Pictures of Birthday Party

Chloe's Birthday Party

Well, we are finally sitting with our feet up after a wonderful celebration. This birthday party will be one to remember and thankfully we have digital media for Chloe to remember the big day.

Chloe's birthday party was a success in the midst of a mass down pour of rain...we still had fun. Here are some pictures of the big day.

Chloe loved eating her cake and I cannot believe she ate the whole piece! My favorite part of the party was the cake! It was gorgous and of course, our little princess. She looked so pretty!

We couldn't have pulled the party off without MeMe and Pops and Grandma and Grandpa Orlewicz. They all tremendously helped us pull it all together!

We wish all of you who are reading could have been there!

Hugs!
